In the book Symbolism of Summer Solstice: Comparative Readings, Iosefina Blazsani-Batto approaches, through a comparative perspective, theme with wide resonances in Romanian folkloric mythology, but also universal one, taken up by many historians religions, exegetes and, last not least, writers.
